Participants have to organise their journey to Kirkjuhvammur (Saurbæ) at Rauðisandur and camp there on the 23rd of June. Participants need a travel insurance as the boats we use have none.
Day 1: Journey by car to Melanes. Hiking with daypacks, camping at Saurbæ.
Day 2: a daytrip at Rauðisandur to Keflavík. If the weather allows we'll do a boat trip to Hvallátrum, otherwise we'll drive by car. Our luggage will be brought by car. Camping at Hvallátrum.
Day 3: Hiking with daypacks. Camping at Hvallátrum.
Day 4: If we didn't do the boat trip on our second day, we'll do it now. Otherwise we walk to historically and culturally interesting places. Our trip ends in Sauðlauksdalur.
Price: 40.000 / 45.000 ISK
Included: camp site fees, luggage transport, boat transfer, guiding and a barbecue.
