Laugarvegurinn, Icelands' most popular hiking trail, leads from Landmannalaugar to Þórsmörk. Diverse landscapes, geothermal areas, deserts, gorges, rivers and forest.

Day 1, Wednesday: departure to Landmannalaugar by bus from Mörkin 6, 108 Reykjavík, at 8.30am. Hiking to Hrafntinnusker cabin on the same day. Evening hike in the surroundings of the hut.

Day 2: our hike leads us over the mountain range Kaldaklofsfjöll to the huts at Álftavatn.

Day 3: we pass the hut at Hvanngil, wade the river Bláfjallakvísl and hike through the volcanic desert to the hut at Botnar in Emstrur. In the evening we can walk to Markarfljótsgljúfur gorge and do some sightseeing. 

Day 4: on the way to Þórsmörk, Þröngá river will be waded. The group will stay in Þórsmörk for one night. A barbecue, entertainment and a fire will be held in the evening. 

Day 5: morning exercise or relaxing in Þórsmörk before taking the bus to Reykjavík.
