The mountains between Snæfellsnes and Borgarfjörður, Dalir og Mýrar are hardly known to the public. A hike between mountains, heath and lakes.

Day 1, Friday: Departure from Mörkinn 6 in 108 Reykjavík at 9am. Bus transfer to Hlíðarvatn. Hike from Hlið onto Geirhnjúkur, camping at Tjaldbrekka.

Day 2: Hiking up Austurárdalur, climbing of Mt. Tröllakirkja, along Mjóadalur and camping north of Langavatnsdalur.

Day 3: Walk through the canyons of Vatnsendagil and Landamerkjagil down to lake Hreðavatn and Bifröst. A meal awaits the hikers to celebrate the trip. Bus transfer to Reykjavík.
