Description: 4 - 10 July, 7 days

In this trip we'll visit the bird cliffs at Hornbjarg and Hælavíkurbjarg. The cliffs and areas at Hlöðuvík, Hornvík and Látravík are the habitat of the arctic fox, too.

Participants have to organise their trip to Norðurfjörður on the 3rd of July and stay overnight in the hut Valgeirsstaðir before meeting the guide on the following day. Accommodation during the trip will be in huts. Joint meals, which are not included in the price, will be transported between places but participants have to carry all the other gear themselves.

Maximum participants: 18

Day 1, Sunday: boat trip to Hlöðuvík on the 4th of July.

Day 2 + 3: we stay inside a house at Hlöðuvík and do day hikes, e.g. to Hælavíkurbjarg.

Day 4: on the 7th of July we will walk to Rekavík, Hornvík and Kýrskarð in Látravík

Day 5 + 6: we stay in Látravík. Hike to Hornbjark, amongst others to Kálfafell and Miðfell

Day 7: boat trip back to Norðurfjörður.

Price: ISK 56.000 / 61.000
